Barbados Wildlife Reserve
The Barbados Wildlife Reserve occupies four acres of mahogany forest with meandering brick paths, a great family day out, where you can stroll freely among animals roaming freely in their natural environment, only the more dangerous animals, such as pythons are kept enclosed.
The reserve is devoted to man’s love and respect for nature, as well as to research and conservation. Here you can see agouti, armadillo, Brocket deer, pelicans and green monkeys who love to come out and play at afternoon feeding time. Reptiles include snakes, iguanas, turtles, and tortoises. parrots, flamingos, and peacocks adding bright splashes of colour, all will be delighted by this amazing reserve!
