The Fish Pot

For, breakfast, lunch or dinner, the Fish Pot Restaurant is an ideal setting on the water’s edge.

For, breakfast, lunch or dinner, the Fish Pot Restaurant is an ideal setting on the water’s edge. Located within a historic 18th-century fort, the restaurant has an open-air (covered) terrace that offers breath-taking views of the bay.

The Fish Pot is famous for both its fabulous menu and informal dining rooms that recall the traditional British Colonial style. The coral stone walls, the artwork and the unique view of the Caribbean Sea will give you an unforgettable experience.

Enjoying the relaxed island vibe of Barbados.

At the Fish Pot Restaurant, the food is flavoursome and tasty, thanks to the fresh ingredients and the experience of the chefs.

The breakfast menu includes a wide range of delightful dishes, from homemade bread, scrambled eggs to fresh tropical fruits. If you decide to go along for lunch, expect seafood, sandwiches, stir-fries, and Kasmiri-style curries, all paired with great rum punch.

Dinner is a mix of continental and local cuisine; the chef recommends the grilled Octopus Salad and Ahi Tuna Poke, as well as the Chili and Herb Marinated Salmon. You can also try ‘The Catch of the Day’ or the risotto, which is touted as the visitors’ favourite dish. The view of the vibrant sunset makes every evening the perfect date-night.

In this stunning location, visitors get the chance to immerse in a lovely relaxed atmosphere, specific to Barbados. Just steps from the restaurant, you can swim, snorkel or simply soak up in the sun, and then head back for a beverage or two … wines, cocktails and mocktails are available throughout the day.

You can find the Fish Pot Restaurant in Shermans, St. Lucy, on the northern end of the West Coast. As with most restaurants on the island, reservations are appreciated. Virgo Villas would be more than happy to book you a table for lunch or dinner to ensure you enjoy this tasty culinary experience next time you come to visit.
