A most prestigious colonial style Caribbean holiday villa located in the exclusive Royal Westmoreland resort, Barbados, with stunning views across the golf course to the turquoise blue of the Caribbean Sea. The Westerings sits in an elevated position on the 13th hole of the resort’s championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.
There are five superbly appointed double bedrooms in the main house, each with ensuite facilities and spacious verandas with sea views. The luxurious master suite consists of a private lounge for peaceful relaxation, a dressing room, spacious bedroom, covered terraces with panoramic sea views and an opulent ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and tub.
The open plan lounge and kitchen open onto a large covered terrace – the perfect location for sunset cocktails. Ideal for family gatherings, the outdoor living areas include a dining and bar area with barbeque, and an expansive terrace surrounding the luxurious infinity edge pool and Jacuzzi.
The guest cottage features a sixth bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and lounge with pull out sofa bed. The cottage is perfect for teenage guests, allowing them a degree of independence and privacy. Originally designed as a fun-filled family paradise, The Westerings has a fully equipped games room on the ground floor of the cottage, with pool table, air hockey, table tennis, table football and a play station. There is also a dedicated media area with cable TV and DVD player, and Wifi connectivity to a fibre optic network. In the main house, there is a state-of-the-art, multi-room audio system with wall pad controls. Just plug in your iPod and hit your playlist.
Guests staying at The Westerings are entitled to access golf at the 18 hole championship Robert Trent Jr. course. For the use of the amenities of Royal Westmoreland such as clubhouse, tennis, spa, gym, and beach club membership inclusive of beach chairs and umbrellas there is a fee of US $10.00 daily per villa Resort Fee, payable at the Resort Registration Desk on collection of your Resort Card.

“My extended family, spent Thanksgiving week at the Westerings Villa, which sits on the 13th hole of the Royal Westmoreland golf course, which overlooks the sea. The setting was spectacular, the Villa exceeded our expectations and was beautifully decorated, spacious and elegant, and the Villa staff were superior, each making us feel immediately at home and cared for. In short, each of us went home very happy to have visited the Island and to have chosen the Westerings as our home for a week!”
Two weeks of absolute luxury and relaxation! We opened the double fronted doors to heaven on earth. Situated on the 13th hole of the prestigious Royal Westmoreland golf course, everything you could think of is here in one house. The cottage (more like a 2 bed semi-detached house!) next to the main house, is equipped with games and entertainment for all ages - table tennis table, air hockey, football table. We look forward to spending more holidays in the future here - thank you for getting it so right!
What an amazing 2 week holiday, staying in pure luxury overlooking the championship golf course and with panoramic sea view. We travelled in a large group,14 of us but the house is so spacious it certainly didn't feel like it. We stayed in the beautifully appointed 2 bedroom cottage which had its own kitchenette to make our own drinks and downstairs had a fabulous games room with table tennis, air hockey, pool table, table football, darts, there was something to occupy everyone and we had fun with a few tournaments. The main house is equipped to a very high standard, the infinity pool looks across the 13th hole and has a jacuzzi at one end. Our stay in this stunning house was topped by having a fantastic butler and chef who ensured we didn't need to lift a finger and could completely relax!
