Westhaven, a luxurious beachfront vacation rental, is gently lapped by calm waters from Gibbes Beach of the West Coast.
A mere 5 minutes away is the historic little town of Speightstown – with the most delightful and casual restaurants tempting visitors with their authentic Caribbean cuisine and sea vistas. Don’t forget to check out the Gallery of Caribbean Art and Arlington House - a 'must see' interactive museum with audio-visual features of 'Old Barbados'.
Lush gardens usher you through a gateway opening onto the pool deck with a gorgeous view of the sea. The shimmering pool is surrounded by sun loungers with a trickling water feature in tune with the soothing sounds of washing waves. Loungers can be taken down to the seashore through the private direct access to the beach. Serene, crystal waters beckon you to swim, to snorkel and to take advantage of several water sport activities. Gibbes Beach meets Mullins Beach to the north allowing for romantic strolls or brisk walks.
For entertainment the comfortable living room on the ground floor is outfitted with flat screen television, complete with cable. This area opens onto the expansive patio – just the spot for sipping cocktails while admiring a superb sunset. The kitchen’s large window opens outwards to the dining area, making it convenient to serve meals, snacks and refreshing beverages throughout the day. Even partake of a scrumptious meal on the pool deck al fresco - prepared by the villa’s chef.
The bedrooms - which have outdoor patios, air-conditioning and en suite bathrooms – are all located on the first floor except for one situated on the ground level. The master – also equipped with cable television - and 2nd bedroom suite share a balcony overlooking a magnificent view of Gibbes Bay. The smaller balconies of the third and fourth bedrooms offer lovely views of the garden. The villa can accommodate valuables in its two safes.

From the house to the staff - not one thing went unnoticed. True relaxation and gratitude to all!
We had zero worries while staying at Westhaven which is exactly what we had dreamed of, but never thought possible. The fact that every detail was taken care of for us made this the MOST RELAXING VACATION EVER! Cheryl can cook like nobody's business - she surpasses the dinners at most restaurants!

We loved the proximity to the water and how quiet and well equipped the property was. We really enjoyed snorkelling with the pretty fish and turtles right outside the house. The people are so friendly and the food so good - we should have stayed longer!
